About · Monty Pascal

Hi, I'm Rosha.

I'm a designer and photographer with a product designer's brain and a photographer's eye. Over fifteen years I've designed for Bay Area startups, artists, and women-owned studios, including early product and brand work at companies like Apple and Instart Logic.

Monty Pascal is the studio I run from home, where I get to do that work the way I like best: closely, personally, and end to end. I lean on modern tools, including AI, to move faster and reach further, but every project is shaped by a human hand and a real point of view.

How I work

01

One person, start to finish

You talk to the person doing the work. No account managers, no handoffs, no telephone game.

02

Everything under one roof

Photo, video, brand, website, and shop, produced together so it all feels like one considered whole.

03

Fast, without cutting corners

Modern tools and a decade of practice mean quick turnarounds that still feel handmade.

SF Ceramicist storefront with striped mugs and bowls

From the shoot

A celebrated ceramic artist wanted a digital home to display and sell her distinctive work.

The brief

Build a presence that felt as considered as the ceramics themselves: a memorable brand, a shop that was easy to run and easy to buy from, and images that captured the detail and texture of every piece.

What I did

  • Branding. Started with a discovery interview to understand her artistic vision, audience, and values, then designed a logo, palette, and typography that evoke elegance and craft, documented in a full set of brand guidelines.
  • Storefront. Chose Squarespace for its ease of maintenance and built a clean, intuitive shop with product categorization, detailed descriptions, responsive design, and a secure checkout, advising on the choices that saved her time and money.
  • Photography. Planned and shot every piece to highlight its detail and texture, edited for brand consistency, and optimized the images for fast loading.
Outcome

A professional, cohesive identity, a noticeable lift in online sales and engagement, and a library of images that keep drawing buyers in.
